Gwenda Karen Ferrett was born on the 30th April 1957. She trained as a typist and worked in the talking book library of the Royal NZ Foundation for the Blind. After moving to Sydney she married Paul Ferrett on 30-8-80 and they have two children:
There are two grandchildren, Penelope Anne and Leona Christine FERRETT born to Daniel & Marie
Other than being a mother, Gwenda keeps busy with music (obtained her A. Mus. A. Diploma in 1996 and now teaches singing) and her involvement in the Community of Christ in Sydney.
